A Few Words About Me

Hey y’all, I’m Robin, the creator of Hip4Vegan. My journey began in 2011 when I suffered a devastating gallbladder attack. It was painful, frightening, and served as a wake-up call. My doctor informed me that the gallbladder attack could have been caused by pork and beef consumption. I am still not sure if that was the cause, but I immediately cut out pork and beef from my diet, as you may have guessed. I continued to consume chicken and fish for my protein. In 2016, I saw a fantastic documentary called ‘Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead.’ After watching this movie, I started making the transition to a plant-based diet. I slowly cut out the chicken and fish and cow’s milk altogether.
